Believing, Seeing and Speaking

Have Faith in God

Let me share a few moments of your time by discussing this principle in Mark 11: 22-24. Jesus said in verse 22,”Have Faith In God.” He then goes on to explain the God kind of Faith. Verse 23 “For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Verse 24 “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them.” First of all you’ll notice that the God kind of faith is spoken. Believers must “believe it, see it, say it and pray it.” Secondly, We cannot afford to wait on the manifestation, before we believe the revelation. When God reveals (revelation) His word to us, it is seeded into our heart. It is there that Faith is produced, and our spiritual eyes are opened to his word. James 1:21 tells us to receive the engrafted word of God, which is able to save our souls. The meaning of the word “engrafted” means implanted. We must believe and see what God’s word says about our situation, at the same time we are praying about the situation. Not after.

Study and Meditate on the Word

As believers we must read, study and meditate on the word of God in order to effectively believe what we are praying about. In Acts 3, Peter and John encountered a man who was lame from his mothers womb. I find it interesting that they knew exactly what to say, in order to bring healing to the lame man. By knowing what they had in the “Now,” they were able to simply speak (say) to the man ” Such as I have, I give unto thee; In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” Remember the first verse I wrote about in this blog? “Now Faith Is.” Later on in Acts chapter three Peter explains to the people how the miracle happened. In  Acts 3:16 he says, “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom you see and know: yea, the faith which is by him (Christ Jesus) hath given him (the man) this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”

Don’t Give in to Excuses

This day in time I hear people say things like “well, I hope he gets healed” or ” well God knows, we’ll have to wait and see. He don’t heal every body you know.” We can come up with many excuses, and I’m not wanting to come across callous or offensive to you. I simply want you to read, and see what God has “right now” for the believer in His Word. What do you have in Christ? What promises do you know, that you know, that you know belong to you? So that when you pray, you pray with the kind of faith and assurance Jesus talked about? Now is the time to get back on the basic principles of God’s word. Such as “Have Faith In God.”  My anticipation for what God is going to do for and through you, is at an all time high. We are believing the Best for you.

Until next time remain in the Father’s finest.

Love in Christ,

Ron Roper
